For the kind of shoots he does, those rates are right in line.

Perhaps if you wanted a different "niche" you should have asked for a quote from a different shooter?

Or, you could simply be another cheap/broke bastard pretending he has money for content until he finds out what it really costs.

Worst experience I had was paying a rate as high as what you charge, and getting content that was pure shit....and then finding out the guy stiffed the models too.

Unfortunately this business does attract alot of shady folks. You gotta be careful who you do biz with.
