I don't think it is suspect on No Carrier's part. Just a case of ppl assuming guilt by association. I think the best thing to do is post a list of how much money has been raised and what NoCarrier intends to use the money for, if not medical bills.
If the kid doesnt need his medical bills paying and a big sum has already been raised in donations, is it worth having the sig auction money go to NoCarrier? Personally I'd prefer it to go to a charity...Perhaps supporting child cancer..
When I last checked the auction was 10k... Now if there's no medical bills needing to be paid, I doubt NoCarrier will need 10k....as well as donations. That's just insane..
I'm all for the kid getting better and helping with medical bills if needs be but if no medical bill money is needed, and you're not gonna be buying the kid 10ks worth of presents to cheer his ill self up.. Then I'd rather not see the auction continue to go ahead.Comment

nocarrier has been straightforward with everybody from the start, as scott said, his first post was because he just found out some horrendous news and posted out of emotion, but it was in good faith, and he posted updates as they came
After reading what nocarrier posted a few days ago, it scared the hell out of me and ruined my day, then later I had gotten proud of this community, as nocarrier is a respected member and the support he got showed an enormous amount of solidarity.

This post has literally brought tears to my eyes.
Im a Canadian, and have had an ill child the last several months also. And allthough his treatments have been covered, he has been staying in the Ronald McDonald House near the Hospital in Toronto. Now unless we planned on leaving them there alone (which would never fucking happen) my wife and myself needed to find accomadations (the rooms for us at RMH just dont cut it, and make it impossible for me to any sort of work).
Long story short, with complete coverage, its cost us over 40k in expences this year to get our little champ some help, and still maintain some sort of family dynamic.
