damn this thread i knew would come back to haunt me - i so want some popeye's right now. some bigger company should buy them out and expand and take on KFC head on - cuz there aren't many Popeye's and from what people are saying they aren't in the best parts of towns.

4. And even though Popeyes are in bad neighborhoods, I have NEVER seen any problems at a fried chicken restaurant...We're only there for one thing, and that's to buy and eat chicken...You think they're going to put down their 12 piece to fuck with somebody that they don't even know? Hell no.

Actually AFC, the company that owns Popeyes, has been a standalone company for a couple of years now. Popeyes was founded by Al Copeland, also of Copelands Restaurants and a famous cigarette boat racer.
