Someone did that to my friends car a while back. Just as well it was his old car. Two days later he was picking up his Audi TT. He'd have been super pissed if they did it to his new one.

Happened to me last xmas eve
some fuck wad tried to steal my Jimmy
little did he know I had a immoblizer installed

nothing worse than a guy working hard to buy something and someone else just thinking they can take it without putting in the time and hard work. they want a fucking hand out all the time. People like him will get theirs don't you worry. It's all bad karma for him.

at least he didn't get it. your insurance should cover the damage right? look at it this way, he's still walking while you have a nice truck, thats all that matters.

Happen to my car in June as well. I came out to go to work and the door was fucked as was the steering wheel. They tried to steal my stereo as well with no success. I guess they got pissed and kicked in the front windshield as well. Theiveing fucks!

Damn, that sucks... good thing they did not use a larger screwdriver, they coulda busted the shitty cast bolts that hold that door handle on and bipassed the lock mechanism, if they got into it, it woulda been gone..

Had something similar happen when I went to see a friend in an inner city suburb, and came out to an empty street at about 4am... I didn't realise until the next day because I have keyless entry. Looks like the guy shoved a screwdriver INTO the lock, trying to turn it. Not sure what he would have accomplished as the engine is immobilised unless unlocked with the remote.

Sucks that your door was damaged, that's gonna cost a lot more than a new barrel.
