I feel safer knowing everyone has a gun rather than just a few people.

Call me old fashioned, but I believe the traditional theory; people, kill people, guns don't kill people.

Having the ability to possibly overthrow your gov't isn't a bad thing either. IMO

Women get raped, women with guns have a chance to avoid this. So fucking what if rape doesn't kill (among other things like getting beat crippled by a theif), I'd much rather anyone be able to protect themselves as they see fit than to roll over and take it (literally) because a bunch of pussies don't like guns.

I feel done with this debate. The conclusion beeing that the US is a lot crazier than the rest of the world therefor people are forced to carry guns. (I'm not saying everywhere, but mostly redneck-country etc) Some of you have admitted its too late for you to change to a "no people-killing-weapon policy"

Lets not start talking about "i'm armed because then i can overthrow the government" its just too silly. I have a feeling you guys do not understand where the world is heading.

I just want to end with this: It takes a very physically strong and mentally challenged person to kill another humanbeing with his fists. Give any many a gun and he can make a mistake.

I'm not the first bit concerned with convincing all of you that I'm right and you're wrong or listening to your ill-informed and half baked theories regurgitated from whatever NPR whine fest you happened to catch on the way to flute practice.

I grew up in a house with guns, I've owned guns my entire adult life and still do. I always will, regardless of any laws here, there or anywhere. A gun has saved my life three times as a civilian and countless times when I was a police officer. That's a hell of a lot more than any spinless, whiny anti-gun poof ball, the police where I was, any government or anybody else.

I stick with what works. If a baseball bat, your ninja fists or your good thoughts and intentions work for you where you are, stick with that and shut the fuck up about anybody else, anywhere else.
