In my neighborhood our association started this deal where we all had to cut the grass on certain days because they wanted everyones to look even. After a couple of summers there were so many people bitching and it became such a nightmare to enforce that they've pretty much let it slide. But you better not let it get the least bit long or the whole neighborhood will be on your ass, lol.

My yard is the envy of my neighborhood, but everyone else on my street has a lawn service.

It's just relaxing for me to mow the grass. "Nothing runs like a deer!" hahah I love my new mower too!

however weed eating sucks :-(

I re-sodded with a strain called Floratam St.Augestine right after I re-irrigated what was here after I did some major yard & seawall excavations that had my yard all messed up anyways.

This variety is very resilient to allot of insects and diseases than some of the other varieties.

id hate to have an assosciation...i did notice one guy at the end of the block who doesnt cut his grass...or even try to take care of it..it is basically just weeds...i hate that
