You should go.. the longer you wait the more serious it can become. My brother-in-law waited and had to have his ear removed, worked on, then they stapled it back on LOL seriously it was fuckin' nastyComment

If its earwax, a solution of 50% alcohol and 50% hydrogen pyroxide will do a good job dissolving it. Thats typically what they will use in the Doctors office. Then you need to genty flush it out with warm water using an ear bulb.Originally posted by Adult Search Resultsi hate the doctors office, especially near me it's a walk in clinic and i get all stressed out and anxious going there but i think i should go... i've had this for a month now
This is one of the most common causes of ear blockage. Ask your pharmacist if you don't want to mess with the doc.Last edited by ronbotx; 09-23-2006, 08:09 PM.Comment

Yep there's products made just for this problem, ask a pharmacist as suggested if you can't find the product from your local drugstore.

Also wish you feel better. Try some home medicine first. As far as i heard when a doctor is pulling your plug - nothing pleasant at all.Comment

Wish I'd never read this thread.
Yeah, so's mine, but i've been putting it off for ages. My mother-in-law said she recently had hers done, and while uncomfortable, it's well worth it.
Do I believe my MIL or the GFY clan?

Go to an ENT. Its a simple procedure using a small vacuum suction pump. Very little pain or discomfort. Costs $65-$85.Originally posted by borkedWish I'd never read this thread.

Trying to flush it out on your own if its gotten this bad is not going to work.
Take it from someone who has had it bad.
