I prefer the Wynn to any other hotel there. It's a bit North but not as bad as if you were staying at the South end and wanted to walk to mid-strip etc. Didn't seem as bad anyways. Plus they have the hottest cocktail waitresses and they actually have very good drink service no matter the game you are playing.Comment

I think it's one of, if not the most expensive casino's on the strip.
Thing's I did find interesting, was the fact that the new Encore is attached to the Wynn, very nice decor. I liked watching the high roller tables, most casino's have those in a private room. The minimum/max 500.00/5000.00. Those tables were packed and it was great watching. I seen the switch resturant and I hear thats pretty cool, the decor and staff also changes uniforms each time the "switch" happens.
I don't know what the normal rooms look like, since a friend of a friend knows Steve Wynn and we seen his room, and I was in LOVE with that room, golf course was very nice. I would go into the decor, but that would bore most of you.
Tons of action, and the mood seemed really friendly, I could tell that they catered more to the table players than the slot players. So BJ for you, could be pretty fun. I also found it to be pretty warm in the casino.

JDL, why not just stay right off the strip? The RIO is an awesome hotel/casino with all suites. It's super nice and very inexpensive and right beside the strip.-Robbie

I stayed at the Wynn once..about a month after it opened. Had a great suite, but the service and people there were terrible. Ate in two different restaurants and in one.. the food all tasted burned. I complained and in most cases they end up offering you something for your troubles... nadah.
I won't stay there again.Comment

I also rate a hotel on how far they are from the malls & strip clubs. Whilst I really like "the hotel" it is too far south and end up spending so much on cabs too and from everywhere..
