Fuckin pathetic... my rant on ms affiliate managers
Assume you have been sending a 6 digit sales volume to an online store selling widgets. Regularly, month by month, for over a year. Commission is alright, though you'd think they'd bump you up with a high volume of sales. They don't.
So I talk to a affiliate rep on the phone after she approached me about being their all time top affiliate, blah blah. The lady was totally clueless, didn't know a thing, and even when I mentioned that I could generate 4 times the amount of sales if they gave commission on green widgets (which they don't, greedy fucks), she just blew me off. But at least she praised our excellent editorial and integration of their products into my site.
One thing that I love and miss about adult is that the program owners will take care of you. They'll even send you fuckin' Xmas gifts AND raise the payout for you. Not to mention, they'll fuckin bend over backwards for your traffic. More traffic, more sales.
Don't get me wrong, this store is a major player, huge sales volume and exclusivity. Too good for my traffic?
