Newark, OH (AHN) - A 28-year-old man faces drunk driving charges after crashing his motorized bar stool.
Police in Newark say when they responded to a crash report, they discovered Kile Wygle, who had wrecked his bar stool powered by a deconstructed lawn mower, MSN news service reported.
Released 911 tapes reveal an odd, if calm, conversation between the driver's friend and the 911 dispatcher.
"I got a friend who wrecked a bar stool," said the caller. The dispatcher then asked whether he hit his head on the bar, the friend replied, "Um, no, he was riding the bar stool... a motorized bar stool."
Ohio police say Wygle was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated after admitting to an officer at the hospital that he had drank 15 beers.
