For those of you that caught any of the bands referenced in this thread live back in the day,
this should bring back some memories for you....
The pics were taken at shows in the early 80's, including Black Flag (with Henry Rollins looking like quite the skinny young punk), Suicidal Tendencies, Circle Jerks, JFA and a few of local Tucson bands, some of whom were pretty damn good in their own right.

Last minute mention for Husker Du....a short and intense career that laid the groundwork for all the powerpop punk that spewed forth from Epitaph and NItro.
For the 90's I also have to add a personal mention for Face to Face, as they came from my hometown and were some of the best live performers I ever saw (even though they mainly served as a substitute when Social D wasn't on tour).
