    Are You Using any Blogging Wizards?

    For those of you blogging your sponsor hosted galleries and programs, are you manually creating each post by entering directly into your blogging software (like WordPress), or are you using 'wizards' to speed up your entries?

    I found that using the 'rich text editor' of WordPress is too sluggish (esp. when switching from RTF to raw HTML) and when it tries to 'help out' with syntax, I end up spending more time dealing with the tool than the content.

    How are you guys making out?

    Do you turn off the RTF mode?

      yes that editor will totally screw you up. So frustrating. I cant believe they actually include that piece of shit.

      For my manual blogs, i do the coding in another program. Say Dreamweaver, then i just copy and paste the code into wordpress html mode

          Exactly, and it's the simple stuff that can sometimes through you into an endless loop of fixing up missing element delimiters.

                                  The flash is in the templates. The blog entries is just typing, once you get rid of that nasty "rich" editor.

                                      Exactly. The rich (aka bitch) editor is often counterproductive.

                                                      Yes it is possible and not necessarily with autoblogger either. Theres a few out there as well as plugins for wordpress that do this sort of thing.
