They even go so far as to drive around town in vehicles licensed in Mexico, not paying registration fees or meeting emissions standards, but if they get pulled over by a cop, the cop can't ask to see their green card or the police department gets sued for discrimination (even though they have a Sinaloa or Sonora plate on their vehicle!)
Well, they're a little tougher in New Jersey.

I had to go to traffic court there a couple of years back and before my case came up no fewer than 20 Mexicans, one by one, stood before the judge and plead guilty to the same offense; driving without a license. The judge in turn ordered each of them to pay a small fine (about a $150) and sent them on their merry way.

Immigration laws are a joke.
