Racism is huge in Canada. They are just more polite about it.Originally posted by KevshFYI look on a map - Toronto is farther south than a few states (besides Alaska) and I can guarantee you our winters are milder than Buffalo, Green Bay and other wrong-side-of-the-lake cities.
Also, far more cleaner than any major US city.
Way less crime (look it up).
No NFL team here, but we got NFL Sunday Ticket and Detroit/Buffalo aren't a long way off.
Very good school system (and cheaper universities - in cost, not quality)
Racism? You'll find a country overall far less race-obsessed than our southern neighbours.
Gee, I guess I was wrong .. one person gets harassed here and suddenly we're a racist country?
Ha ha ha
Don't listen to this type of crap, overall Canada is one of the best countries in the world to live. And the winter can be a pain, but you get that in 2/3 of the US .. and it's tolerable here with all the other advantages.

I've been stopped driving a $130,000.00 (CAD) Viper GTS ACR for DWA (Driving While Asian).

why blame it on race? they shouldn't stop you because you drive an expensive car? compared to the states i think there is little racism.Originally posted by AnthonyRacism is huge in Canada. They are just more polite about it.

That's just one incident. I've walked into a bar asking for directions and had idiots in there muttering "Triad". I was in a ML430 behind my buddy in his S430, the cop waves at the kids in the backseat, I come up to the stop and I'm asked for License, Insurance, and registration. I've been in this line for some time to Whistler and I get stopped? I've had racist "Jokes" from people I met minutes before told to my face, but it's okay, because it's a joke. I've got way more, but dont' feel like typing it all. I understand the plight of the black man in the US.Originally posted by BlackCrayonwhy blame it on race? they shouldn't stop you because you drive an expensive car? compared to the states i think there is little racism.
I had racism in the US as a kid, as I got older, it was less and less. I had more incidents of racism in Canada, than I did my whole life in the US. Off the top of my head, I've been stopped and had a "Check" done on me for no reason other than race at least 3 times.
Even after that, I still loved my time there. There is always a bad to good, it's life.

So what are the advantages of Being in Canada...I know that there have to be some...
Oh and saying "Ni&&er we don't want you here" will only make me want to come more.
Oh, I don't live in Canada. Nevermind.
Thailand welcomes brothers with open arms, but they are on some strange visa shit right now. Well, that and a coup. Minor issues.Comment
