TGP's cant take up too many resources... so should I just get shared hosting?

Hostgator wont let you 777 a specific directory in order to use a TGP script. I found this out the hard way. =(When they kick your front door, how you gonna come? With your hand's on your head, or on the trigger of your gun. -

777 means anybody can read, write and execute.
on a shared environnement, it is a security issue, since scripts can be uploaded and executed in that directory ...I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !
But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....Comment

Bo$$ you should not have any problem. i am even strea,ing from their shared host and they are pretty quick and good and 2500 should not be a problem for them. never had a problem with them. I am still trying to get to limit of what their shared host can handel. Also don´t worry about the 777 i just checked it and it works fine with me.skype: codercarlosComment

I had a dedicated with hostgator a while back. It was a good machine but their support sucked. Every time I called they had to "escalate" the question to one of their higher level techs. Even for simple stuff. Bandwidth and pricing was pretty good. Not sure about their shared accounts. Didn't touch any of them.Adult Software Solutions (ICQ 559884738)
