verio is a big company, used them alot before. had bandwidth commits with them for awhile. service is decent, alot of large players in the game use their enterprise solutions/bandwidth pipes.

serverprovider never used, rapidsite.net never used.

I have been a regular customer with Serverprovider.com the last couple of years, after trying various other hosting options. And, its been a pleasure ending up at Serverprovider, and I am now using them for all my hosting needs/boxes.

The support via mail, phone & icq is rapid and flexible, theyre always ready to twist and tweak my boxes in whichever way I want, theres no uptime problems - and the price is good. Basically just a pleasure to work with and great value for money.

So yeah, if you ask me as an ordinary customer, i would definately go with www.Serverprovider.com

In your list 2 are resellers, and out of those 2 one is a reseller of a reseller.

Verio is the only one I could vouch for for you.

Verio has one of the weakest networks next to Cogent. Not to mention why use any one connection when so many host blend several for much better performance. If you want to impress stock holders then maybe go with a fortune 500 company like Verio, but if you want to have the best performance then do some research on site speed and reliability. DWHS was rated faster then 92% of the web by Alexa. Hardware and connectivity are just the beginning, it takes a constant search for what new and best to stay at the top.

I haven't heard of the other two companies by the way.

if you had a page that just said "Hi" on it, the 'Site Speed' would be like 'very fast' according to Alexa, even if it was running on a DSL connection, so really it doesn't tell you much.

Well.. Verio is still considard a premium provider, NTT bought verio about 7 or 8 years ago to use their backbone for their telcom. NTT's original plan was to fund verio for 5 years and then shut it down in the states, there have been alot of datacenter closes since the take over. Verio is still considard a good provider, better than alot of providers out there.

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
