flv player: show the first frame on page load..

flv player: I want to show the first frame of the flash video as a preview, but not load the whole vid yet. Not until someone actually clicks on play.
I had no idea this comes close to rocket science, i just spent about 2-3 hours searching around the web. How the fuck do i do this? Using actionscript 3 by the way.

Pretty sure they work by actually displaying an image, and then the play button routine would hide that image from display and push the player to the top.

set autostart to false, and set the image variable

dont know then, unless you actually modify the .fla code with the right actionscript to do this

yea thats exactly what i wanna do, been looking for an AS3 code like that but havent found it yet... i could use any code also from different players who do have this feature, im just looking for a base to work with. Longtail video forum no success btw....

So if any flash experts can point me to a basic AS3 code for this it would be great!
