Why are pads disgusting? I really don't get it. Tampons take more time to insert and don't feel pleasant when you take them out. Pads are easier cause you just throw it on your underwear when your in the house.

I don't like tampons at all. I didn't start having sex until I was around 20 and before that I could never even get the tampons in, it was actually painful for me to use them. I find them extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable and sometimes even slightly painful. I'm not very sexuall active though, so that could be a reason why, but I just find tampons semi-uncomfortable.

I forgot to add I went through a period where I was celibate for over 5 years and didn't have sex AT ALL, and that could be why tampons are uncomfortable because I'm not used to sticking ANYTHING up there. (And I don't want to either).
