People who are busy running corps and in the process earning lumps of money, rarely have the time to piss about looking at friggin cars - unlike many time-wasters
Only know two billionaires and both are fairly modest (tho one has more homes than God) but drive "average" cars, start work at 4-5am and sometimes still working at 10pm. The lawyer of the other can expect a phone call at 2-3am for some legal bullshit discussion (he now takes the phone off the hook) - it's a 24/7 job. What chance to discuss the niceities of a vehicle with four wheels? Who cares? It's a friggin car, not the crown jewels

Really wealthy guys are just as secure driving around in a regular car as they are in a fancy car, so it pretty much just depends on their level of frugality. From what I've observed the more money you have the more watchful of how you spend your wealth you become. And I'd agree with the one post that said the richer you get the more eccentric and weird you become.
