This is not a joke. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

Below are 2 actual, real emails I got in response to a job posting.

I've received the same. But for me, I handle recruiting differently.

1. Vague ad.
2. Once contacted, I send them two sites with detailed explanations and examples.
3. I either never hear from them again. Receive an insult. Or they say no problem.

HAHAHA... thats great .. I actually own a mainstream photography company as well (hobby for my wife) .. the best is when I get an email and accidentally respond back to it from one of my work emails by default .... I usually just chuckle to myself .. never know who actually looks it up .. could care less .. "Uhm .. no sir I am sorry we aren't looking for our wedding to be shoot by a PORN producer " ....

I posted on a mainstream work at home board looking for an assistant writer. I specifically mentioned that it would be dealing with promo materials from adult websites and sent everyone who replied instructions to send me writing samples based on some galleries I emailed them. Of the dozen or so who replied, three of them wrote me angry emails about how "disgusting" and "wrong" it was and how they didn't know I meant THAT kind of adult material. One of them threatened to turn me in for cp and told me I was a sick pervert because one of the galleries was for a teen solo model site. Needless to say, I learned my lesson.
