              More than welcome buddy.

Hopefully some of the advice, tips and tricks, from not only myself, but other producers and store owners who've chimed in with some good advice and experience, can help some truly interested make a few more bucks.

You know, the main issue I would have with building a clips4sale store is the traffic leaks.
If the people do not exactly want what you are selling, they will leave the store and go to the clips4sale listings. You have no control over those lost surfers. So a good fraction of your hard work in building traffic will go to clips4sale.

                  Well that goes both ways.

Neil, or whomever is at the helm anymore, does a lot of advertising on Howard Stern. He buys traffic to throw at the main page, and other stuff over the years. I guess he should (and has) have the same expectation in outside links. Basically limiting, or eliminating them so you can't link to other sites in your network to some degree.

So,... that is a two way street on your leaks. I guess you, more than anyone, would appreciate when he made the change to stop people from linking off clips4sale then.

Thanks so much for the info. That was very nice of you. ....and even nicer that you continued to follow-up, clarify, and go further. I'll remember to do something nice for you in return

It sort of reminds me of Andy Dunn's SexSwap newsletter (anyone remember him?) I miss his extreme generosity of information.

Here is a real life example...

                        http://www.gfy.com/showpost.php?p=15728814&postcount=20

It is a little experiment I had started just to show some numbers behind the clip store on non-exclusive content. Not first run content. Minimal promotion. Easy return on investment.

A lot of others have chimed in the thread to make it a nice asset for those who do stores, or did not know how to go about it.

Make sure you read between the lines. There are a lot of different techniques mentioned in the thread on how to update, how to get the most from your content, and some other tips and tricks. I do not think anyone is going to spell it completely out for newbies, but a lot of the information is there.

Wonderful and very helpful tutorial! I am only a little lost on one simple thing; it looks like you have to set up, on Cips4sale, a new account for every store you set up, with a new username and email address and all that, is that right?

                              That is correct.

You will end up linking them together in your admin section. Make sure all your business (or personal) information is the exact same. Then your stores will be groups together for your bank wire payment, as well, they will all show on the dope down in right hand corner of store.

Or you can always e-mail Gia at clips4sale.
