Did the wealthy nations suddenly stop buying debt? It just seems a bit sudden when they announced the quantitative easing and the dollar tanked so...... whats going on?

Assuming this is going to be the way forward now with future expansion of the fed balance sheet, is the dollar gonna drop like a stone now going forward?
