Just to follow up,I went with a titanium metallic Cayenne S.
And so far I really like how Porsche stayed true to the 911 design.
In many respects its the same,yet different.
It should make a great winter driver.

It has so many neat Porsche features.
Left side ignition,the simple yet functional 2 button temp controls.Same dash layout as the 996's,seats that are comfortable with real lumbar.Brakes that are amazing.I don't anticipate tossing this threw the twisties,but if any suv could I'd say it would be this one.You might not be as anonymous as you think you are.Comment

I bought a Cayenne turbo last year, i love it, I would spend the extra $18000 and go with the turbo, not just for the extra power which is nice, will help your resale down the road, but the body style is much different, the turbo has a much bigger front grill, bigger tires, dual pipes,and body kit. It is built like a sherman tank, there is not another SUV out there that has the build quality. You may also want to look at the new Range Rover sport. 400 hp supercharged, and is about $10000 less that the Cayenne.Comment
