Hey guys this is Donny my girlfriend wrote this article because I been really busy and she did not want me responding to avn as of yet so I wanted to post it. Here she is???..
I was quite shocked by an article AVN wrote about Donny today, I immediately got upset reading half way through. How unprofessional can they be? I was there through the whole interview. Donny asked to be recognized for his hard work and his company, not with insulting sarcastic comments and effortless internet research. The article talks about the battle with Christian xxx and the long girls, which is old news the kind of stuff you can find off Google. You would think AVN would have the ability and intelligence to come up with something new and different. What is the point of an interview if you hardly wrote about anything he said?
One thing I hate the most is when someone twist your words around. Yeah Donny did mention his dick was on the cover of the mag but what he said he was upset about is how many times have the guy sent in articles asking to be published or recognize but got neglected for the past year by AVN and then find a picture of his penis on the front of the magazine.
What upsets him the most is they ignore him for this long and finally contact him only because they saw xxxfilmjobs.com banner on ********.com and wanted to get him to spend some money with them. The article even says it all ?with the potential banner ad at stake? Let me define this for you; AVN finally took the effort to acknowledge Donny only because they needed the money.
So let me ask you this AVN, how many banner ads do you have to buy to win male and female performer of the year award?
With the Tommy pistol issue which AVN forgot to mention of course. Donny was not trying to insult Tommy he was just using him as an example with the many male performers who did a few scenes and got nominated for an award and Donny performing in 500 scenes during that time, but his name was no where to be found. Also the article mention la direct models owner Derek Hay as Derek gay. Donny made this comment because Derek has done gay porn. We all know Donny is not very fond of male performers doing gay and straight porn and you just can?t threaten him and not expect to go to war. As for xxxfilmjobs.com and why we allow gays and trannies to register was apart of my idea and I had to talk Donny into it. We have to accept all sexualities for the type of site we own.
The whole purpose of AVN doing this article was to promote xxxfilmjobs.com and make talent want to sign up because there is over 300 directors and photographers on the site looking to hire talent. Instead AVN wrote an article that would make anyone shy away from being apart of it.
When Donny talked about the number of scenes he has been in and has shot AVN said ?Still, some insist that mere mention of the name ?Donny Long? lowers one?s credibility to the level of sewage.?
OK can you please mention who those SOME are or is this your own opinion? Typical industry people say one thing in front of your face and then go stab you in the back. I don?t see the people that have order over 500 scenes from him or have shot him in over 800 in the past couple of years saying that about him including Brazzers, Top Bucks, Incredible Pass, Massive Dollars, Vivid, Playboy, and hundreds of others. If someone has made a comment like this then they?re probably internet troll nobodies. I was very surprise AVN of all people would say something like this. Donny wanted to comment on that article but I told him to hold off for now.
Enough with this, Since David Sullivan can?t do his job right then I guess I?ll just have to do it for him.
Tell me a guy in this industry that has performed in over 800 scenes in 2-3 years and go on to open his own company all by himself with no partner or investor with a 2,800 square-foot studio and shot over 500 scenes in 1 year. He also launched a website xxxfilmjobs.com a month ago and now has over 2000 members and is growing everyday with over 120 registered porn stars. He is a very hard worker and gives 110% at everything he does. No matter how much people hate the guy and want to destroy him he just won?t stop and can?t be stopped.
