what i find wierd is if i copy paste all at once, it wont transfer.. on madawgz computer it transfers
after having more then a few lines it wont transfter

I use WS_FTP95 (google it) and have no probs with it. Maybe give it a try or the FireFTP plugin for FireFox. Works fine for me too. Or am I not getting your problem right?

Who is hosting your website? This sounds like more of a problem with your host, or even your home connection, than a client problem.

Have you tried using a different program?

Why are you using flashFXP? Are you even putting it's FXP tools to use? SmartFTP would be much better if you don't need any of that. I only use flashFXP for fxp.

What about turning on or off passive mode ftp?

Maybe your firewall is filtering a port that the ftp server is attempting to connect on. Are you running a firewall, or any router hardware?

i set him up with hosting from my dedicated webair box...

from my house i can connect to the ftp fine, no problems

so im not sure why he cant do it...

yeah try smartftp.. i've been using it and no problems.

it allows you to view files on the ftp site, edit it and upload it once u're done with a click.

An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. Software caused connection abort

This error can occur when the local network system aborts a connection, such as when WinSock closes an established connection after data retransmission fails (receiver never acknowledges data sent on a data stream socket). Possibly due to a data transmission timeout or protocol error.

You may try to set the Connection Timeout higher (Default: 60s). If the problem persists change the Data Connection Mode in the Settings->Connection dialog from "Port Mode (PORT)" to "Passive Mode (PASV)" or vice versa.
