Open letter to all sponsors
You may be getting one of these in the mail soon:
2257 isn't going away, but affiliates damn sure will be (for a few years) if they don't get compliant. You need to either put together a model info database for affiliates to access, reference scenes to the primary producer so affiliates can get that info, or stand as a 3rd party custodian for affiliates.

This is HCBabes I promote your program under affiliate id: 123456. I am in need of custodian info for yourmembershipsite.com promo materials. As you well know they incuded a new 3rd party custodian amendment and this can well serve a great purpose also. It gives sponsors the opportunity to act as 3rd party custodians for affiliates who promote their sites. If you have your own (US based) custodian of records it would simplify matters if I could just list that person as my own 3rd party custodian.
If you do not wish to give out that info, then I will need to know who the primary producer of ALL the yourmembershipsite.com content is, and his custodian contact info. I have to have this information in order to comply with the new regulations enacted in December.

Why won't it fly? Because no inspection team is gonna knock on 30 different producers' or content providers' doors to find out who produced 1 or 2 images in question. They are just gonna find the whois info for the site where they found the image and come after the person(s) whos name they find... God forbid he doesn't have the producers names and info on file. 
Yelling, "It's my sponsors!" won't save him either. He may as well just walk around wearing a buttplug from now until the assrapes in prison start.
With that said... Time to stop sitting on your hands guys and do the right thing by us affiliates. I need to be able to use you, my sponsor, as my own 3rd party custodian of records (US based of course) or be provided with EXACTLY who produced which scenes and have custodian info for them in order to be able to reference each model to the primary producer who created the content in my own records database.
