I've been with Verotel for around 3 years, and they've always done a great job. Having read all of these Verotel-related billing problems on this board for the past few months however, has forced me to remove them from my join page, at least until the news gets better. Fortunately I have not received the dreaded Verotel email (yet?), so maybe it won't effect everyone, but I'd rather not take any chances. I am now 100% CCBill, and I'll probably look into Epoch as a secondary, since that seems to be what most people are recommending.

I think we are getting hit harder than most as I had been using Verotel as a primary on a number of sites. From those I have spoken to running even much larger programs their situation is not as bad as they had Verotel way down their cascade.

It's a pretty serious amount they want to deduct, and this is on top of a $1k yearly Mastercard fee that was already being taken. It's just simply preposterous.

This in itself isn't going to break us, but what I really resent is that I have to worry about my processor becoming insolvent and dealing with that fear. I have a 5 month old baby and I had been hoping to take it easy this spring rather than spend it changing links and worrying about this shit.

I'm hoping they will give us some sort of break but so far other than a deduction of some of the processing fees nothing is in the works.
