Sure.. understand, tho don't know the full detail of the "Mexican adventure". Assuming it is as you describe above - looks like there are two problems. First is, they had no rights to detain anyone in a foreign country and second is, - they had no rights to detain them "until US authorities could arrive". US authorities have no rights/powers in other jurisdictions. If in fact agents from the US then acted illegally within another country, who knows, this may be the reason they want to throw Dog back to Mexico as a "gesture".

BTW.. Dog would never have been given any paperwork/permits to act as a "US style" bounty hunter in Mexico - it's a criminal offense (same as a few other countries).

Just smell someone is trying to cover ass and giving Mexico a body as compensation May be related to extradition treaties or, who knows, the actions of US law enforcement outside their jurisdiction (don't know what role they may or may not have played on the ground).

Yea.. agree - not exactly good luck considering the guy did grab a genuine perp. Flip side is law enforcement operating in other countries don't have these rights (they have to work thru local law officers) - so why does Dog?

It sucks that he got locked up, but I do not like him anyway. He does not represent the American Bounty hunters. I was a bail bondsmen and fugitive recovery agent for 2 and 1/2 years.
The only part that is realistic about his show is the pictures on the boards and going to look for them. No one dresses like him or does all of the tv type bullshit. You find the guy and lock him up. You don't smoke with him and blah blah blah. You also can not bail the same person out that you locked up. You have to call another bonding company cause you just got paid 5% of the bail to lock him back up , which was the initial premium that you paid the insurance company. ........ I know that noone cares about this shit, but this is how I talk at 545 am. lol

ok.. so why go all the way to Hawaii to get the extradition treaty?
