I've had my 60gb ipod since xmas. Even in a soft carrying case the screen's all scratched up.

And how hard would it have been to have the 30 & 60 gb ipods be able to play simple video games?

Damn, iTunes 7 fucked up my library. I installed version 7, the sound was very choppy when accessing the disk or even browsing, fiddled around with some settings, uninstalled it and reinstalled version 6. Now iTunes says it can't read the fucking library because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.

I have the old style shuffle, 1GB. I like everything about it, other than the fact it won't play bizarre formats, and there's still no crossfade... oh, and the whole lack of navigation thing (yeah, I knew that when I bought it.)

i picked up an ipod nano 1gb like 2 weeks ago for 159 euros
had to go with black because white is for chicks

now i'm checking this site, noticed they got green, silver and blue ipod nanos

and what sucks the most, 159 euros now gets you a 2gb one instead of 1gb

damnit

Turns out iTunes 7 made a backup of my iTunes 6 library, so I replaced the library file, expecting all to be well. ha ha. Turns out iTunes 6 doesn't want to read that archive format either, so I had to reinstall iTunes 7, export my library, uninstall iTunes 7, reinstall iTunes 6, and reimport my library again, and finally have iTunes 6 working again with all my ratings, playlists etc, and the sound is good again.

Maybe it's time I went MacBook Pro.

You've GOT to have screen protectors (static charged plastic film you lay over the front of 'em) before you turn on your Ipod even once. I don't know why they don't just include them.
