Why does nobody use the "under 18" traffic?

No, I'm not talking about CP!

I'm talking about the "I'm under 18" links on the warning pages. Everybody links them to google, yahoo and other useless stuff. Are there no mainstream affiliate programs, targeted to teenagers, who accept this kind of traffic from adult site?

Ok, nobody klicks these buttons anyway, but setting up an affiliate account and change the link is a matter of minutes and could bring in some extra $$$

people DO do that... but they don't make much $ off of it because of the fact that minors are more likely to enter the website than adults... so it's pointless.

go link your exit page to a file on your server that redirects people to google, and then count the hits to see how many people click "under 18" - there will be little or none.

did you ever click "No, I am under 18" ?
    heeeeyyyyy now!

Hahaha... I have actually done that and I can tell you that the amount of clicks you get are frighteningly low.

Ok, so it is just the low number of clicks. I thought there is maybe another factor I didn't consider.

          Thanks everybody!

Those "exit" links are virtually worthless. I use a click tracking script, and as many have already mentioned, very few people actually click on them. If they do it's mostly an accident.

Even if there is no traffic:

If your sites had good PR...
would it be worth just dumping all your "under 18s" as hardlinks to one domain... and host a mainstream banner farm on it?

(then sell the domain or links from it if it ends up with PR but no traffic)

no sense in giving away backlinks to Google and Yahoo.
