That's what I'm wondering as well. Maybe there is an API backend, and you can just pull in the database of another site?

I figure that must be the case. I guess if someone were to sign up for one dating program and another new one 'licensed' the database, the members win by getting greater exposure - no harm no foul. Except, if a new member signed up and saw too many familiar ads from their last membership, that might have some blowback.

The pickings are pretty slim in small towns, so any 'imported ads' would get noticed.

What do you think?

I say the right way to do it is start with 0 and make a site good enough that it grows on its own

Treating dating sites like porn sites will kill the name of the dating industry in the eyes of the consumer.

Yes, Spring Street used to sell theirs. Dunno if they still do.
