I was at the p2p conference a couple months ago that edonkey was at with some of the major music and movie studio execs there and there are working together more and more everyday. The music studios are coming around and some have already signed deals with some p2p networks.
btw if edonkey shut down, i don't think emule would be working

Im conecting OK through Shareza - Its all distributed so I doubt they can do much about the network that is in place - I dont think that many people actually used the eDoney software, so Im not sure if even if that dosnt work it will have much of an effect.Comment

Agree with you on that one.. plus their is torrents and things are changing fast .. the only way the record companies can beat the downloads is to provide better service.. their is always going to be more services.. more products more people running the service from different locations ... like Russia .. china .. Iran .. and so on.. you can't be running after everyone all day.
they MUST stop the demand because in capitalism .. demand bring supply .. supply doesn't creates demand.
and to stop the demand .. they must provide all their music at high quality .. fast .. and easy for the customers.. with coupons for a physical experience for the user. prizes and crap.
