    How Many Affiliates & How do you Pick?

    There seems to be an endless array of different affiliate programs out there and I am curious to know, for those who care to share, how many affiliates some of you work with in promoting, and how you pick who you are going to promote?

      Test and tune. I usually pick my niche, shop around till I find a site that can give me an erection (because I've seen it all) and then I promote them for a while and see how the sales go. I just recently dropped a few non producers today, and I'm on the prowl again. Gotta keep testing and tuning.

          Just a pet peeve.

          Affiliate = person that promotes a sponsor by sending them traffic/joins. An affiliate sends a sponsor traffic via their affiliate program.

              How many GOOD QUALITY SITES and TOOLS they have available.

              PimpRoll.com has by far been the best I've seen and keep coming out with more awesome sites every month.

                  Buddy, can you elaborate on that a little more, I really dont know what you mean, but would very much like to. I am still very new to this biz and try to be careful on my terms and understanding...thanks much

                      Just terminology.

                      Sponsor program/sponsors/affiliate program = the paysite or program that pays people for joins and traffic.
                      Affiliate = the webmaster who does promotions and sends the program traffic or sales for payments.

                      You were just using the word affiliates for affiliate program interchangeably.

                          in simplest words, your question in the thread title would have been better worded as "How many Sponsors & how do you pick?"
