NY/NJ Webmaster's/Industry People Were Planning a Get Togther

Were trying to get a small get togther planned for all the NJ/NY webmasters/industry people, sometime in the next few months in NYC. There are too many of us in the area and im quite sick of all the Florida and California events going on but nothing in the Greatest City on the Planet.

Were working on the location now and we would like some input from other webmasters/industry people when they would like to have it? I have a few friends who own bars in NYC, and were trying to figure out which place is best.

Lootdaddy will be the first sponsor and were looking for any other NJ/NY companies that would be interested in sponsoring so we can keep it free.

Hit me up if your interested in sponsoring or just giving suggestions.

We had a kickass time when the comedy club one happened but there isn't much of an atmosphere for networking then. I'm up for it... no suggestions offhand yet though. It'll be cold by the time it goes down so something very indoors. =]

I think the reason there's nothing in New York, it's because everything in NYC is very expensive. Not too many webmasters can afford $1,000/night hotel, $25 hamburger, $10 fries, $50 entrance fee to a strip bar, etc.

Were looking at a Bar in NYC, not a bling bling style place but a Irish style pub. Something comfortable, fun and intimate enough to get to sit and network with everyone. Its more of a get togther than a party, just for everyone to meet, do some business and drink some guinness
