Wow... the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago.

I was woken up by my cat (nothing unusual there, lol). I didn?t think anything of it, she makes strange noises every night, and tried to go back to sleep. I heard her go under my bed and she kept playing with something, throwing it around, so I peeked under the bed to take it away from her so I could sleep. This time it wasn?t a piece of paper or a sock. I had to stare at it for quite a while to realise that she was holding a bird in her mouth. A BIRD.

Now it wouldn?t be such a big deal if I lived on the countryside and the cat could run free, but at the time I happen to live on the fourth floor, and the only place she could have catched the bird was this tiny window in my kitchen. I tried to get hold of the bird but I had no luck at first - she was very proud and protective of her first catch

It looked just like in cartoons really, the bird was so tiny the only thing I could see was a few tail feathers poking through my cats teeth! When she finally gave me a chance to see her precious toy I picked it up and saw that it was just a baby It must have flown straight into her mouth! They can be very stupid and careless when they are babies.

I felt sorry for the bird but it was already dead so I threw it on the balcony and went back to bed. My cat soon followed me - without the corpse. I figured she got bored of her toy, but then I heard some noise on the balcony and saw a shadow in the corner of my eye. So I got up again and went to inspect the balcony. The bird was gone! I could have sworn it was dead when I was holding it in my hand.

The only thing left of it was a couple of tail feathers on the floor. I hope it survived but it might have died of shock after making the lucky escape. I wish I had taken a photo when I had the chance!

I made a similar experience some time ago.

I was sitting on the toilet when suddenly a strange noise started. It sounded like something knocks on metal. It was winter and snowy outside, so I thought it would be ice, falling down the downpipe of the eaves. On the way out to check if there was a problem, I found my cat sitting on the ledge, trying to catch a bird which was trapped in the corner of the window, behind a samovar. The bird went totally crazy and made a hell of a noise. I managed to grab the bird and bring it outside. When the bird flew away, the cat was a looking at me as if she wanted to say "wtf, that was my meal, asshole"

it's a compliment - your cat just shows you that she likes you. you have to pet her for being such a good cat, otherwise she will not understand what she did wrong

My big fat cat finally killed a mouse the other day and proudly brought it into the bedroom as a gift. I was lucky I didn't step on it! LOL But we are very proud of our fat kitty's new interest in exercise! LOL

I had my cat at my parents last summer and we were standing in the middle of their large yard when a bird swooped low over my cat and then halfway up these large poplar trees that were probably 60feet tall. My cat took off running 30 yards and up one of the trees. I ignored it and laughed but then about 5 minutes later she came back down with the bird in her mouth. I couldn't believe it. I imagine she has killed over 100-150 birds and mice in 2-3 years.

You are fully aware that your cat is a killer, that it has ambitions of grandeur as evident by it attempting to slaughter an innocent dove (which is a symbol of PEACE for fucks sake!). Yet all you are going to do is attempt to treat the poor dove? what in the holy fuck is wrong with you? How long do you think it?s going to take for the cat to transition itself from tiny birds to slightly larger birds? And from there it?s only a stone throw away before it?s attempting to MURDER YOU while you sleep peacefully.

You think the cat is content with that eh? Far from it. Its attack won?t kill you, oh no, it has far more devious plans for you. While you sleep it will attack your spine vigorously and causing severe spinal damage, making you a quadriplegic for the rest of your life. You are not even able to speak after this incident. All you can do is blink your eyes? as your family and friend haul you off to a hospice somewhere so you can live out the rest of your days in relative peace, you?d figure the worst is behind you right? NOT BY A FUCKING LONG SHOT Cristie, not by a fucking long shot. You see, the fury feline fleshbag will then pay some homeless guys to enter through your hospice window every night and rape your paralyzed body.

This will go on for weeks, maybe even months, without anyone finding out. The guy that runs the hospice is a PETA supporter and he?s been paid off by the fleasacks to keep what?s been happening a secret from your family and friends. Finally they will do something that quite frankly even disgusts me. The cats will hook up an IV in your arm and urinate in the IV bag daily, slowly pumping your body full of their devious toxins. Then they will get the same homeless guys that raped you earlier to jerk off into the IV bag, further directly polluting your body with various types of STDs and other illnesses. They stop when you get too sick and start the process up again when you get well. This goes on for YEARS Cristie, YEARS!

But do you think THIS is enough for those furry feline MONSTERS? No, of course not! All this time your lovely cat which you have praised so much, that started out by just maiming a lovely peaceful dove, that eventually put you in the state that your in, has been working on a cure for your paralysis for years. He sneaks into your room one night and lets you know the good news, and that he?s sorry for all he?s done. He shows you the vial holding the cure, its right before your eyes! You blink with excitement just as he?s about to give it to you?. then he smashes it into the ground and meows evilly in only the way he can. He worked for years developing a cure just so he could smash it while you watched, sending tears streaming down your paralyzed face.

He then carts you to the window to show you the final glimpses that you will ever see? a war-torn world, maim and destruction everywhere, cats running around clawing out the balls of humans left and right. The felines are also dragging away the female humans by their tits to some unknown location, most likely for the pure depravity of the feline overlords themselves. And just think Cristie, if you?d just killed your cat for his crimes against that peaceful, lovely dove, none of this may have happened. Maybe YOUR CAT was the start of felinity?s revolution that led to the very state of affairs that you see before you. Maybe he?s the mastermind? and all it would have taken to save humanity was a single crushing blow to its head.

Congratulations Cristie, you doomed humanity to serve their feline masters forever. I hope you?re happy with yourself.

I was watching TV a week ago and both my cats are lounging around as they tend to do when on top of the TV comes a little mice. Cute as a button but not cute enough to be a welcomed guest! Long story short after tossing my cats at the TV and them looking at me like "WHAT??" I had to evict the intruder myself.
