It is still a matter of real scientific debate.

The debate is only about how much it's happening.

Ive done it many many times. Simple logic. Talk to your grandparents or someone over 75 ask them what summers used to be like.

I can also ask them about what was school was like and apparently they walked both ways barefoot, in the snow, up hill.

How about evidence, then applying logic to that?

Alot of it was interesting, but some of it was just downright unlikely and made me giggle. lol Volcano stuff and alot of others are likely though. Global warming they went on about how hurricanes have increased blah blah. No they were worse back in the early 1900's and even in the 50's Add to the fact that we didnt even really have a hurricane season this year and you'll see they are full of shit, and the earth just has natural warming and cooling cycles.

Why are their tempeture readings up slightly compared to 100 years or so ago that we have records for?

1. Frequency and acuracy of record keeping.
2. Urban spread. Theres a billion or so miles of concrete and asphault we didnt have 100 years ago.
3. They are recording the tempetures around all that concrete, and not the fields and forests that used to be there. Simple as that.

Global warming is a silly scare tactic. How many remember how Greenpeace came to be? Anyone Anyone Bueller? Bueller?

Ozone layer? What happened with that? Did it shrink? No the hole didnt increase in size since the 50's when they first discovered it. Only shifts and changes in shape. The actual size of it hasnt changed. Yet we heard shit about it every day for years and years. Doom of us all. Every scientist agreed according to the media. We all were going to die of skin cancer due to the shrinking of the ozone layer.. Blah blah blah blah. How bout soil errosion? What happened with that? I remember hearing about that everyday over and over. All our soil was going to run into the ocean. We'd have no soil to farm blah blah blah.

Deforrestation. All our oxygene was going to be gone due to us using up the trees. Blah blah blah. Feel free to let them lead you down the primrose path folks. Use a bit of logic. Ask your grandparents how hot it was when they were kids. Summers were hotter even when I was a kid back in the 70's.

Global warming is a farce. If we all die from global warming in 10 years well then Ill be wrong haha.

There is literally no debate among real scientists, it is happening and we're fucked if we don't do anything about it soon. The top expert on GW, who happens to be censored by the White House, says we have 10 years to do something before things reach a "tipping point" and we can't turn back. This is the biggest issue out there since it literally affects our whole planet and everything on it.

If anyone here is old enough to remember, in the late 70s "all scientists" agreed that we were headed for another ics age. It was all over the media, there was tons of evidence, and it was mankinds fault.

much more to global warming than temperature. have skin cancer rates increased? did your grandparents get sunburns from being out in the sun for 20 minutes? etc. hell, it could just the earth going through its cycles or whatever but there is no doubt that we've fucked up the atmosphere to some degree.

Sunburns havent gotten worse sorry. The fact is people used to be out in the sun everyday. Maybe its since people are indoors 90% of the time. Their skin is no long used to being in the sun.
