Jihad terrorists and terrorist cells inside the US.

The more news I watch and read the more I feel it is utter and complete bullshit. I am fairly certain we are being restricted and having rights bypassed for no real reason at all.

Enough of these reports have shown that nothing is really safer, that anyone can buy explosives, that ports and airlines still let just as much shit through. People can still walk up and roam around power plants, dams, you name it.

Yeah I know part of terrorism is the whole you never know when mentality. That is what causes the terror and whatnot. Come on though, even Wilie Coyote would of been successful if he wanted to by now.

They exist and there will be more and more and more... the longer will kill innocent civilians over there, the longer we'll be getting bombed. It is only a matter of time before there are suicide bombings in Europe to the likes of Israel... then it will hit the US in around a decade or so, by that time I'll bail out of this shit hole.. in time.

That one did come into the US and did what it needed to. Not disputing that at all. I am disputing the "since then" fears.

Postal regulations did not go crazy when the unibomber was terrorizing people.

What kind of an effect is an exploding RV in the parking lot going to have? Twenty injured people? Wow.

I see and can understand some of your points, but at the same time I have to ask, are you saying there should be no extra preventional measures taken in this day and age? Right now even the Muslim states are getting fed up with terrorists, I think its kind of funny in a strange morbid way.

Most people with a tad bit of education could stage a deathly event. That hardly means we shouldn't TRY to keep tabs on the ones we can.

You get the point about the RV, if a sporting event is not enough, a dam or whatever.

Now I feel that yes we should be doing a lot about international entry and flights etc. As for domestic stuff, I feel it is useless and just absurd based on results and opportunities.

Well I can tell you they are sceening them a lot more..

My neighbor is from The Sudan and was a pilot there. He has permanent residency here but is trying to become a US citizen. He's been going through the paper work BS for over a year now..

Today he gets a letter in the mail from Homeland security saying that the only thing left, that has to happen is a background check. Unfortunately that will take the FBI anywhere between 2 weeks to two years to complete.

Being he's from The Sudan and a ex-pilot it will likely take close to two years.

In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.
