                                                              he'll be decent if he needs thrown in. the key with art shell is discipline and style of play. he will be committed to the run even when al davis doesnt like it and randy moss will benefit hugely from that. anderson at TE and Crockett at FB give good backup and insurance for protection and short routes when they pull back to double moss.

                                                              art shell will get respect and good play or you wont play its that simple and it can be effective because most of the guys respect him, al davis respects him and al davis doesnt have much else to choose from at this point.

I would have taken a dozen bets with those odds against all these raider fans, this was easy money. Raiders are one of the top five worst teams in the league and even with the question marks surrounding Rivers, this was a blowout on paper. Since Platinum Lantern is handing out money this NFL season guess I'll start monitoring his threads.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  I'll give them 50% of the credit, but when athletes have an off day, they easily beat themselves. This happens in every sport. All that the chargers did exceptional is giving the ball to Tomlinson in the entire 1st half, and having a great defensive line. To the Raiders credit, the defense in the 2nd half was MUCH better.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  No emotion, so teamwork and no coaching = a bad bad day.
