Waiting for my mom to call me to wish me a happy birthday (yes, 9/11 is my birthday) - it was the first time she never called and when I called her to find out if she had disowned me, she was blurting out 'america is being attacked and your cousin is in one of the buildings'.

i was sitting in front of my laptop watching CNN morning news when the first plane hit...Cnn was coveing it within like 2 minutes of it happening....i watched the 2nd plane hit...and both towers drop live ...Couldnt belive i just winessed that many people die live on tv while sittting in the safe comforts fo my home.

I was jumping in my car to go to work, and heard the newscast. Thought it was a fictional thing like war of the worlds, and changed the channel to get some music. Once I got to work I saw everyone watching the TV and saw that it was sadly real.
