I thought it was good too. I haven't really read any haters on it yet. But then again, I come to GFY usually searching for a business thread. And since (as usual) there is next to none on the first page...I just happened to see this thread and had went to see the movie yesterday and put my 2 cents in. I saw it in the afternoon and the theater was packed. So I'm thinking this will probably be the number one movie in the country this weekend.

I keep reading about negative critics, but I don't relate to any of their statements.
It was a good movie I think, and The Comedian was awesome when he shot that pregnant woman! I didn't think they'd make him go there, but they did!Comment

I really wanted to like this movie which is making it really hard to say it wasn't that good. Bottom line is It was really long and that took away for the many positives that the film did have. What it lacked was a strong plot and screenplay and despite the time the director took in trying to develop the characters with back story, in the end all of the watchmen save 3 where basically uninteresting. I wouldn't say don't see it, but I would say don't expect a great movie.Comment
