I was told cam girls are getting pissed off because surfers are recording shows and sharing them with other surfers. Are surfers really this dedicated?

btw have you ever heard of camtasia? screen record the whole show with a couple clicks of a button. i thought this was old news though. and i don't see it hurting the cam sites any because it was my thought people pay for the one on one live experience anyway.Comment

Fuck yeah they are that dedicated. If they are a fan of the girl(s), the most technically adept surfers at least will want to archive their own shows that they pay for and the most "generous" of them will share the shows with others in various fan forums, in hopes of getting the favors returned.
It seems silly to me that the cam companies don't record every show anyway, at least the public shows, and make them available as downloadable clips or in their members section if they have one. As a producer, the idea of letting models that do shows that just go out over the internet one time, never to be seen again seems ludicrous. If and when I add a live component to my own sites with models under my direct control, I would archive every live show and re-purpose them for the archives. Maybe it's impractical to do that if a cam company has girls working on their own locations, but as a idea it still seems counter-productive to me to only let that content exist solely in the moment and then disappear forever.Comment

iFriends has been doing this for years now. I see more cam companies doing it these days too. Jill captures most of her shows and we turn it into clips to leverage the payout for her cam time. The niche stuff is the best return of course. It seems silly to me that the cam companies don't record every show anyway, at least the public shows, and make them available as downloadable clips or in their members section if they have one.
