                  It's a cop show to an extent but it follows the lives of both the cops and the criminals.. So you are seeing both sides of the story.. It's in it's 4th season now and IMo a very underrated show.

                      see thats where people miss out they look at it for a minute and think cop show but it's nothing close to being a cop show. it's a life show, it's about so many different things on so many different levels, cops are just 1/10th of whats involved in the show.

                          Yea I agree it's the only show I've seen that both the cops and the criminals are just as imporant as the other to the story line. I'm not 100% sure how well this season will be, because it has something to do with them being in a high school I think..

                          So I'm not so sure how that's going to fit into the story line but it's getting great reviews.

                              it's supposed to be more about how the educational system plays into the life of the city. just like last year was about the politicians and upper levels of the police department. so it's only an element that they add in to explore but the show stays the same, it just grows.
