Buying dropped names with pr is useless because they usually lose the pr and in a lot of cases get sand boxed for up to a year afterwords.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

It may be useless to you but a lot of people want this information for several reasons.

First, you can recover pagerank from expired domains sometimes. You are right in some cases you cannot but sometimes you can.

Second, a domain with pagerank very likely has backlinks and may still receive traffic. If you have a list of sites with pagerank that are available it narrows the list of expired names with potential traffic down greatly.

Third, while many of the sites may not have value for $19.95 per month you really only need to get one winner per month for this to be a valuable service.

Again, it's not for everyone. But you shouldn't say it's useless.

I have quite a few domains that would disagree with you.

I used to buy dropped names all the time as well. His service seems to be geared towards the PR of the domains.

My post was ment to mean buying domains for the PR is useless after they have dropped.

Any time you buy an expired domain you should be prepared to take a chance on an $8 purchase or do a little research. No one indicator is good enough. Just because a domain is expired with PR doesn't necessarily mean it has value. Just because a domain is expired with an Alexa traffic rank doesn't necessarily mean it has value. Likewise for Overture w/ extension, links in search engines, etc.

My service is geared towards those who want this information. A lot of people, myself included, use Google PR as one factor. If a site has PR you can further dig to determine if it has links in the search engines, Alexa rank, directory listings, etc.

I never meant to insinuate that every domain on my expired list will retain it's PR after you register it. Some will. Some won't. But a regularly updated list like this is a valuable and time saving tool in the right hands.

My only objection to what you are saying is that you keep saying the list is useless.

yes, thats the reason i was laughing at you. you buy a dropped name with PR, it does get sandboxed. but then when 6 months to a year is up you have a domain with incoming links. if what this guy is selling is not a scam, you get a good domain with pr for the price of less than a sale. the only catch is you have to sit on it for a year. people pay hundreds of dollars for dropped names with high pr, so this is a deal actually. im pretty skeptical on giving $ up front for something like this though, so i wont be trying it.

First off it isn't a scam. I'm sure you are aware that you can request a refund from PayPal since I am a verified business seller.

Second if you want to email me at [email protected] I will give you a 24-hour pass to look at the list if you promise you'll come back here and post what you've seen.

As beemk said the current list has 1,382 domains. I'm finishing up a big update for today that should bring that to well over 2,000.

Also, I added a PayPal trial option so anyone who wants to give it a shot for 24 hours the price is just $1.00.

I won't give away any more freebies because that just isn't fair to those who have paid but the $1.00 trial should be close enough.

Looks like the September 11th update brings the list to just over 1,700. About 300 short of my estimates but still a few PR5s, lots of 4s, 3s, 2s, and 1s. A bunch from the original list were taken and removed. All 1,712 of these are available right now.

Great service maybe a little expensive on the 30 day and 90 day member ship maybe should think about $15 for 30 and $35 for 90 days you will probably get more buyers just a thought

I think it is well worth $0.55 - $0.66 per day. If it wasn't my service I'd subscribe. If you know what you are doing it is easy to find 1-2 good domains every day with almost no additional effort.
