I can definitely feel for those kids. Back when I was a kid, my school would give the kids $2 chocolate bars to sell to friends and family. We'd get prizes based on what we sell. My mom would help out by selling to friends.
Since the kids in the news link above got jacked for that cash, they'd have to come up with it out of pocket.
