    Adwords "teen content" crap

    I am a newbie at running an adult site and tried google adwords to advertise. Google won't show my ads because they say they don't support sites that have teen porn concepts. I removed everything I have that has to do with teens and still no dice. Anyone been through this??? I paid money to advertise with adwords but get no advertising Needless to say, I am soooo pissed! If anyone knows the scoop on this please advise!

      Yeah, me too. I had the same problem too. Google has a policy on any "teen porn" concepts for your adwords and ads. That sux. I had to change my concept. You are not the only one, too. But there's some "teen porn concept" ads still online on google.com. What's up with that!

              Simplexity, how did you get around it? You said you had to change your concept. What exactly did you do? Google told me to remove all reference to teen off my site so I did. It didnt do any good. I have a sex toy site with some porn... suggestions? My ads have been sitting inactive for like am month! Stupid freakin damn !&$@&!$&$%! Google!! I feel a little better now

                  Yeah Stardust---I know your frustrations! I just deleted all my ads with "teen concepts". Google is very sensitive about "teen content" ads because they told me that content might be underage. Why did you post ads with google with "teen concepts" to target your site, if you are only an adult store?

                              If you're new to the adult business or marketing in general you shouldn't waste your money on Adwords anyway. You have to consider so many little things when creating an Adwords campaign and if you don't know what you're doing you probably only waste your time and money.

                                  True Dat "DirtyProfits"! You can rack up those loss of $$$ with ad campaigns if your first a newbie starting out in advertising your site. I went through the same major costly mistake in matter of 2 weeks with google. Good learning experience tho for me, but costly. My payouts for my sites didn't cover my expenses for my ad costs =(. All my adds are on PAUSE mode. But that's the breaks. You gotta test the waters and find out the hard costly $$$ way. You gotta do some unreal homework to find the most cost effective way to advertise. Google is out there to get your money, if you don't know what you're doing with adwords! Be cautious how you advertise on them.

                                      Webmasters should be webmasters and not do AdWordsPPC. Save it for the pro's. Google recently adding two new spider bots that exclusivly crawl adwords advertiser sites. The bots measure the relevancy of the landing pages compared to the keyword purchased and other information such as: "teen porn concepts". If you have been smaked by teen porn concepts or one of the other factors the bot measures you MUST remove anything that could at the farthest stretch of the imagination be confused with teens and then sit and wait. LoL, You can request that your website be re-evaluated but it all depends on the spider bot re-visiting your web site. So hold your breath and good luck. Experienced PPC AdWords professionals can and do make entire livings off AdWords alone.
