I've noticed something very off and fucked up with geo-targeting, why do you market photos of women that are primarily 'white' to "ethnic" countries such as bahamas, costa rica, etc...I mean i'm not racist really, but do you expect some black guy in the bahamas to really expect there are model looking caucasian women next door...i just think some of the geo targetting has to be treated like racial profiling with a little diversity in the photos that are displayed for dating sites specifically, dunno just a thought...l8r
Geo-Targetting...let's talk something relevant..

I agree, geo targetting could be a lot more advanced and accurate than it isComment

Not to try to start a bickering contest, but how does everyone try to get around the fact that geotargeting is, in reality, lieing to/deceiving the surfers?
Just curious..Comment

Yes, I'm pretty jaded these days about sales & marketing (both mainstream and adult), but isn't it all pretty much just bullshit? And I'm not talking about some tour saying they have 10,000,000 exclusive videos in their member's area when there's only 3... I think most sales & marketing is based on a fragile deception of perception, especially in the adult world. That's why even a single post on a message board can ruin a company or person, regardless of how valid the post is.Originally posted by ScootermuzeNot to try to start a bickering contest, but how does everyone try to get around the fact that geotargeting is, in reality, lieing to/deceiving the surfers?

I guess I was speaking more in terms of how they are more widely used... with the pics of random gals and the script leading one to believe that they live nearby..Originally posted by SmokeyTheBearIt isnt always that way.. some people use it effectively some do not

I just hope some money hungry surfer doesn't get with a money hungry lawyer and go the deceptive practices route.. I'm afraid they'd have a cut & dried case.. Gotta remember this is a sue-happy country..
But.. again.. just curious...Comment
