Should I make my SE submission daily? If not how often?

Most would say wait for the search engines to come to you via links, personally I'd say it's fine to submit a new site to a search engine once and then again a few months down the line.
There's definitely no need to do it each day!
Sitemaps and good incoming links are the best way to get your site spidered fairly often.

dont submit your sites, they'll find you. when a site that's already indexed links you, the SE's will follow that link and index you too.Comment

For me, i only had to submit once and then wait. Now, thanks to the random nature of my text TGP, The Pink List, i get spidered and re-indexed nearly every day.Comment

When i build a site i usualy just get as many links as i can to and submit it to google.
An exxcelent place to get your site listed quickly is craigslist.com (dont abuse it)Comment

good site map and links pointing to your site from quality sites can get you indexed pretty fast
ranking well for good keywords is another story.
personally I only submitted sites to se when I was new to se marketing. did it for several months and never saw any results.
There are thousands of people submitting to se every day in hopes of ranking well and that want happen unless your targeting keywords that no one else is targeting.
You simply have to be better than top ranking sites if you want to take their spots in se.
those who already rank well, do you think they submit their new sites to se? no.
it dont hurt but it dont help with ranking well unless your targeting hfhgkddke or some little searched word/phrase no one else or hardly any one is targeting.Comment

well I imagine it would help, i dont link to my sitemap from the website, my sitemap is simply a list of URLs that I submit to googlemaps & yahoo so those URLs get indexed. Googlemaps is pretty good for showing you any errors, what people are using google for when it comes to searching your website as well as other info - page rank for all your pages etc.. If you've got the time I'd say it was worth giving it a shotComment

I use google sitemaps and found it great for spidering dynamic pages. About the original question NO don't submit every day. Submit one time and never again. The SE's that have spider BOTs will find your links eventually. Submit to directories, top lists, and the other adult SE's.
