The difference between porn and mainstream is simple.
Pornstars are paid up front, most mainstream actresses are not and thier survival depends largely leveraging thier contacts paying gross amounts to thier agents, where as Pornstars do not have to leverage themselves so hard and are called for work far more often.
What I mean is that mainstream actresses and I am not talking about #1 girls or even A list girls or B list girls but most mainstream girls tend to sit around alot and wait for a call to do a small commercial bit a voice over, while working small end jobs unless of course they are a debutant,( AKA Well to do finacially ).
Truth of the matter is most pornstar girls tend to make far more money than mainstream ones that are not within the A and in most cases excell even over the B bracket.
