you can still eat carbs though... the type you can eat are complex carbohydrates, your body needs them for energy. simple carbohydrates are generally foods which are refined (found high on the glycemic index).. eating foods low on the glycemic index particularly during breakfast and/or before any physical activity like exercise is ideal.

I ate NO carbs at all for the first 2 weeks and lost 9lbs.
Ive introduced a small about of carbs in the last week. Maybe 20-40g a day
Im taking chromium picolinate (sp?) and a multi vitamin and getting ready to add green tea to the mix.
This hasnt been hard at all. But I do love meat so that helps

Atkins as a diet will always be inferior to a real healthy life choice with a balanced diet and enough exercise. Good luck with the yo-yo and we'll see you on the upswing in a few weeks I'm sure.
I heard about a no diet-diet...say you gain weight because you eat a lot of M&Ms or something...You basically eat M&Ms everyday for like 2 weeks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and you'll get so sick of it, you won't touch them again for a long time.
