All I want to do is buy a car on ebay....

I have been trying to purchase a 2008 BMW 535I on ebay for a week and cannot get a deal done.
I have contracted two of the dealers and offered them a price of $1000 less than their buy it now price. One does not want to know and the other tells me to phone him which I do and leave voice mail and get no call back. I email him back again the next day and he does not even respond to email...

I though they wanted to sell cars... It's not like I am offering a stupidly low price, they can still make approx. $4k more than they paid at auction for the cars...

$1k below listed price is WAY fair if it's a dealer. Don't know wtf their problem is.

Constantly amazes me how some dealers/sellers on Ebay manage to stay in business.

I had one that I called on a vehicle and he rudely declined my offer, damn near laughed in my face at "such a ridiculous offer".

1 week later same vehicle was again offered on E-Bay at a price significantly below what I had offered.

Exactly. I had the same thing happen to me. I did not even try and contact him again as it pissed me off.
